Kansas City Pros: Accurate color rendition, compatible with other brand instruments. Cons: None. Best Uses: Indoor and Outdoor lighting. Handle becomes a bonus for guerilla filming. Describe Yourself: Professional Videographer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I recently needed to relamp a number of fluorescent instruments from daylight to studio temperature. The Alzo tubes are nearly a quarter the price of Kino replacement lamps and, to the eye at least, appear to be of equal quality. I've not had an opportunity to shoot chip charts and do a scientific test - and I doubt that I will bother. I've already used them on two shoots and they look fine. |
